Updates

Well, I  have been checked by the doctor here at Base Camp one last time before leaving and have been given the OK to start my summit attempt with the others in the team.  However, later in the day the weather report indicated high winds on the summit so the early morning departure planned will have to be put off for a few more days.  We were fortunate not to have been higher up the mountain (Camp 4) as those climbers have now worked their way back down to wait for the weather to improve.  The weather reports come in the evening so we will all have to wait another 24 hours for any more updates on the wind conditions on the summit.
